Privacy notice

When you book through this website you send us a few details so we can get you where you are going. This page explains what we collect, what we do with it and what you can ask us to do.

In short

  • Used only to arrange your journey
  • Never sold or shared for marketing
  • No tracking or advertising cookies
  • Ask us to see, correct or delete it

Who we are

This website belongs to JimGO Taxis, a local taxi service based in Northumberland and licensed by Northumberland County Council. We are responsible for the details you send us through it.

You can reach us by calling or texting 07552 030702, by email at booking@jimgotaxis.co.uk, or through our booking form.

What the booking form collects

When you send a booking request, we receive:

  • Your name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address, if you give one
  • Where we pick you up
  • Where you are going
  • The date and time of the journey
  • How many passengers there are
  • Your flight or train number, if you give one
  • Anything you write in the message box
  • The time you sent it and your IP address

We only ask for what we need to plan the journey. The optional fields are marked on the form, so you can leave them empty.

How we use your details

We use your details to arrange and price your journey and to contact you about it: to confirm the booking, tell you the fare and let you know if anything changes. If you give us a flight or train number, we use it to track your arrival so we are there when you land or your train gets in.

We use your details because you asked us to arrange a journey for you. We do not use them for anything else, and we will not send you marketing.

Where they go and how long we keep them

When you send the form, your details are emailed to JimGO Taxis. A copy is also kept in a log file on the web server that runs this website, in a folder that cannot be opened from the internet.

We keep your details for as long as we need them to arrange your journey and keep a record of it.

Who we share them with

We do not sell your details, and we do not share them with anyone for marketing.

The companies that host this website and our email store your details on our behalf. We would only pass your details to anyone else if the law required us to.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • See your details. We will tell you what we hold about you.
  • Correct them. If anything is wrong or out of date, we will put it right.
  • Delete them. We will remove your details, unless the law says we must keep a record.

To ask, send us a message through the contact page or call or text 07552 030702. We will reply within one month, as the law requires.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

This website does not set any cookies. There are no tracking, analytics or advertising tools on it, and the fonts and scripts load from our own server, so no other company sees your visit.

We will update this page if we change how we handle your details. It was last updated on 4 October 2026.
